Online form was puzzling

Electronic steps to complete claim proved quite puzzling. Try to make them more user friendly. Make sure, as well, that each of your employees fully understands process. Some passed me around to others rather than helping me. The only effective one coached me while I was using the computer so that I navigated correctly and this person made certain I completed necessary steps. He stayed on phone until I did so. When he worked this way, the time we spent was surprisingly less than other calls.

I was expecting a new device

I had no idea it was going to cost more money when I needed a new device, I thought the 60 I paid in the beginning was going to be all I needed to pay. The device works fine I was just expecting a new device not certified refurbished.

Refurbished phones

I believe that insurance is useful, however if you have been paying for insurance for 2,3, or 4 years you should be able to get an upgraded phone. I don't like that they send refurbished phones. I deserve to get a new phone for all of the money that I've been paying.

Will not purchase insurance again! Cost me $13/mo plus $100, more than just buying a phone. Cancelling from all the plans, and not only not recommending but deterring friends and colleagues from making the same mistake!

Think the deductible should decrease

I do like the insurance and I understand that the deductible depends on the phone but I think the deductible should decrease after some time. I still had to pay $200 for the this phone even though I've been a customer for nearly 6 years and I only had to replace this year

It took just over 24 hours

It took just over 24 hours for me to have the exact same device in my hand, despite the fact that I had just reported to a state/military mobilization far from home when the loss occurred. Because of the nature of the damage, it took a few days for me to fully transfer my data and reset the old unit before sending, but I was even able to do that. I'm right back where I was before the loss, and that makes me happy. Sort of the exact point of having insurance, is it not?

Great service

Because I got great service, the only issue is they want me to return the damaged phone in ten days but i still have to go to the Apple store to remove my data if possible and the store is closed because of COVID-19 ... I wish they gave me more time until Apple store opens.

The best coverage and customer service

With these extremely pricey mini handheld computers it is a must to be protected with the best company and in my experience that's Assurant. They have the best coverage and customer service. I am older and huge with calling customer service but because of this health crisis I for the first time completed a claim on the app. It wasn't easy for me at first but the Chat and customer service helped me through. Thank you for trying to keep it simple for your customers.

Nice replacement

Would have preferred the silver Samsung Galaxy like I had instead of the black but...it is a nice replacement. Also, you need to ASK if we need a charger when filing the claim because I forgot and had to buy one.

I had forgotten the insurance covered loss

I had forgotten the insurance covered loss.  I was very pleased to find out it did.  It took some of the pain out of losing my phone in the bottom of a lake.

My old phone had a larger screen, New replacement phone was a great upgrade, but the screen is small. At my age,  eyesight is not all that good. But I do like the new phone. Just wish the screen was bigger.
